Project
Gaschromatogaphy (GC) to support plant physiological research
Ethylene is a plant hormone that plays a role in various plant physiological processes and also in the interaction between plant and pathogens. Additionally, to monitor respiration it is necessary to quantify the production of CO2 and in some cases oxygen. The infrastructure applied for here, supports the ongoing research in departments BW21 and BW25, where these processes are investigated.
