Impedance optimization of an existing coil for wireless power transfer at 27 MHz

This paper presents an efficient design flow for impedance matching networks used in wireless power transfer when using existing coils. This paper studies how impedance matching networks influence the wireless power transfer’s efficiency using both circuit and full-wave electromagnetic simulations. The best values and topology for the impedance matching circuits are estimated using equivalent circuits and optimization algorithms.
