AVID Advanced modelling and correlation of complex vibro-acoustic systems-towards digital twins

The main objective of AVID is the development of efficient and accurate methodologies, models and tools for the analysis of complex vibro-acoustic systems that retain detailed physics and incorporate them into a new generation of model-based engineering disciplines. In this way a robust link can be made between models and experimentally observed behavior, which makes it possible to make increasingly accurate, digital representations of the system and allows the further penetration of physically-based models in the daily engineering practice of design and validation.
