Mapping of urban green in the Brussels Capital Region and monitoring of changes in urban green over the last decennia (ActuaEvol09) (BRGEOZ160)
The ActuaEvol09 project consists of three phases:
1. Detailed mapping of urban green in the Brussels Capital Region (2009) based on high-resolution remotely sensed data and spatial analysis of urban green by means of landscape ecological indicators.
2. Monitoring of the evolution of urban green over the last decennia based on medium-resolution remote sensing data.
3. Analysis of 10 typical cases of urbanisation, fragmentation and quality evolution of urban green.
