The molecular basis of the growth promoting capacity of a Caulobacter sp. on Arabidopsis thaliana

A Caulobacter sp., originating from maize roots, exerts a plant growth promoting effect on both maize and Arabidopsis thaliana. Until now our knowledge on the molecular basis of this plant-microbe interaction is very scarce. Via transcriptomics, proteomics and phosphoproteomics we aim at gaining molecular insights into the processes that give rise to the observed growth promoting phenotype.
