Novel glycoproteomics methodology for discovering tumor-specific cell surface glycopeptide epitopes.

Finding new cancer-specific glycopeptide epitopes through the development of an entirely novel glycoproteomics methodology, fully focused on the (Sia-)Tn cancer glycotype that is almost universally overproduced in (adeno)carcinomas. This is essential to bring the enormous potential of the new, potentially curative modalities of cancer immunotherapy to the vast majority of cancer patients with solid tumors that derive from epithelial cells.
