Fine control of catalyst structure: improved catalyst performance by tuning the active site location

Combining model system synthesis, physicochemical characterisation, catalytic testing as well as mathematical modelling, we search for fine control of catalyst structure by tuning the location of active sites. The results of this fundamental investigation will give input to the experimental validation in the form of the synthesis of an optimally performing, precisely shaped supported catalyst.
