Mapping intratumoral dynamics during immune checkpoint blockade in breast cancer by single-cell profiling

Single-cell sequencing is emerging as a key technology in cancer genomics, providing a better understanding of the function of an individual cell in the context of its microenvironment. As a PhD student, I will explore the cellular heterogeneity in the tumor microenvironment using single-cell technologies in the context of immune checkpoint blockade with the aim to better understand how the tumor microenvironment with its diversity in cell types, particularly T-cell subtypes, is organized and remodelled when exposed to immune checkpoint blockade.
