The education and communication pillars of integrated care for atrial fibrillation. (ATRIAL FIBRILATION)

The prevalence of atrial fibrillation (VKF) is high and will increase even further. VKF is a major burden for the current healthcare system. Our research group has already conducted various observational studies to map the current shortcomings in the care of VKF patients. In addition, we have also tested several new interventions to optimize the VKF policy. Despite sufficient evidence that an interdisciplinary, nursing-coordinated approach is required, there is a need for additional research in this regard.

This project aims to gain more insight into the various factors contributing to the success of integrated care, with a focus on the effects of structured education and streamlined communication.
