Tasting Flanders-Tasting Britain? The Flemish migrant painter in 16th century Great Britain: interaction between heimat and isle

Important issues in recent art historical research are the phenomena of migration and artistic exchange. This research embodies the establishment of the oeuvre of seven Anglo-Flemish portraitists and the identification of styles and painting techniques.
