Quantitative analyses of the human gut virome: Are viruses really our enemies?

This research  will allow us to develop an optimized and reproducible protocol that has a minimal impact on the relative abundances of different virus species in a sample, and that will allow us to interpret the data in a quantitative way, as opposed to most virus enrichment protocols currently in use.
