Towards a Virtual Director.

Within CAMETRON, we aim at building a system that, with minimal human intervention, produces high quality audiovisual productions. This will be achieved by pushing the state-of-the-art of various underlying technologies, such as audiovisual content analysis and scene understanding (with the focus on people), collaborative processing of multiple audio and video streams, multimodal integration, real-time processing, (pro-) active steering of cameras or microphones, appropriate coding schemes, quadrocopter steering, etc.
