Removal of persistent substances from pharmaceutically charged waste water: evaluation of treatment techniques and residual environmental effects.

This project aims at solving a number of objections for application of AOPs (including the necessary knowledge about the formation of intermediaries), so that these technologies can be implemented in practice. Adsorption processes (activated coal and other renewable adsorbents) are evaluated as post treatment step.
