Implementation of digestive treatment and recirculation: influence on the anaerobic.

Improving the efficiency of anaerobic digesters of organic waste and by-pass streams through digestive recycle to the fermenter. By applying ultrasonic technology or oxidation to the digestate, the residual organic fraction of the digestate will be converted into (easily) anaerobic biodegradable molecules. By returning the digestive to the fermenter, this disintegrated stream becomes a kind of "secondary power supply", which generally results in a higher conversion of the organic material from the imput. Ammonium nitrogen inhibition is also addressed by a selective removal of ammonia in the digestive recirculation.
