Marleen Keyaerts

    Marleen Keyaerts obtained her PhD in preclinical research about molecular imaging and therapy at the ICMI lab of the VUB. She obtained a senior clinical investigator scholarship of the Research Foundation Flanders in 2013. Marleen now combines her clinical work as a nuclear medicine physician with basic and translational research at the ICMI lab. One of her major goals is the clinical translation of new radiopharmaceuticals for imaging and therapy. She also focuses on cancer immunotherapy, with a special interest in immune checkpoint blockade therapy and targeted radionuclide therapy.
