Foad Heidari Gandoman

Foad. H. Gandoman received his Associate Degree, B.Sc and MSc degrees from Technical and Vocational University, Hadaf University and Science and Research Campus, Saveh Branch in 2008, 2011 and 2014 respectively, all in electrical power engineering. He was an active researcher and lecturer at the University of Kurdistan and Technical and Vocational University in electrical engineering from 2012 to 2016 in Iran. He is currently doing his Ph.D. at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) under Prof. Joeri Van Mierlo’s supervision with the Battery Team (BIC) of MOBI in the department of ETEC on EU projects (Such as ASSURED, GHOST, and ACHILES). His research interests include reliability and safety assessments, power quality, renewable energy based Distributed Generation (DG), battery (Li-ion)/energy storage and Electric Vehicles (EVs).
