French philosophy reads Sade: enjoyment as transgression?
Our research is based upon two constations. Firstly, it is often said that we live in a culture of enjoyment, and that this, secondly, has something to do with the postmodern transgression of the law. In our research we want to highlight the ontological assumption, namely enjoyment is transgression, with of the help of the studies about Sade, Bataille, Klossowski, Lacan and Deleuze.
