Migratory careers of new migrants in Belgium (CAREERS).

The main objectives of this research are the following: Analysis of (labour market) integration trajectories of people holding a refugee status or persons under subsidiary protection and, if possible, inferring a typology of integration trajectories /integration careers. Comparison of these integration trajectories with integration routes of former asylum seekers in other statuses. Comparison of these integration trajectories with integration routes of aliens in other statutes such as regularized migrants and family migrants. Analysis of socio-economic profiles of family members of the different categories of former asylum seekers. Comparison of integration trajectories of former asylum seekers who have acquired a Belgian nationality with those who have not. The research will be based on the analysis of administrative databases.
