Policy Research Centre on Transitions for Sustainable Development (TRADO).

Sustainability transitions refer to the fundamental system changes that are needed to solve persistent societal problems, such as climate change, depletion of natural resources or the ageing society. The Policy Research Centre on Transitions for Sustainable Development is a four-year research programme funded by the Flemish government. It is a consortium of KU Leuven, UGent, VITO and Drift. KU Leuven is responsible for the studies on the evaluation and monitoring of transitions, the financing of transitions and the general co-ordination (prof. dr. Hans Bruyninckx). The Policy Research Centre also has a website: www.steunpunttrado.be .
