The Long Detour: Memory and Imagination in Ricoeur's Notion of the Narrative Self
This dissertation will focus on developing Paul Ricoeur's hermeneutic understanding of human memory and imagination, in order to determine the role that both have to play in the establishment of a coherent sense of self.
