The evaluation of the DGOS-programme 2008-2010 of the ngo IPIS.

HIVA was requested by the ngo IPIS to carry out an evaluation of its DGOS* programma for the period 2008-2010. The activities of IPIS are basically research and investigations with regard to natural resources, arms trade and CSR (corporate social responsibility) in the region of Central Africa. These activities are mostly commissioned by NGOs and lobby groups (such as 11.11.11 and Amnesty International a.o.). The evaluation HIVA is to carry out focuses upon the sustainable impact of IPIS' activities. HIVA to this end will have a series of interviews with clients and users of IPIS. (*) DGOS: Directorate-general for development cooperation (Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs), the co-financing institution of part of IPIS' activities.
