Sense of coherence in adolescents and emerging adults with congenital heart disease

Youngster who have to deal with additional non-normative stressfactors, such as living with a chronic condition, can experience problems while growing up and in developing a strong sense of coherence (SOC). On the other hand, it is possible that a chronic condition is perceived as a manageable stress factor for the children, which helps them to develop a strong SOC. Research on the development of SOC during adolescence and emerging adulthood is scarce. In this study, we want to explore the SOC of adolescents and emerging adults with congenital heart disease
