Boundless Biobased Education (R-7855)

The goal of this project is for cross-border topcluster biobased economy to train more and better qualified personnel that responds to future demand for suitable technical and techno-economic staff but also gives a boost to the (further) development of this sector in development. Because the bio-based sector is a very broad area, we have chosen to bet primarily on the themes bio fibres & biocomposites, green chemistry, bioenergy and components (such as green pesticides, dyes, etc.). The sectors in which these themes primarily will be made education programs: construction, agro-food, chemistry, materials (W. O. textiles) and maritime. These themes have been chosen because they are currently considered the most promising for further development. The sectors have been chosen because they are strongly represented in the region.
