Project

Towards a whole‐of‐university approach on responsible sourcing

This project will contribute to the goals of the Open Faculty call in at least four ways:
(1) Substantially increase the awareness and understanding within the university and the associated institutions how responsible sourcing practices can contribute to several goals the university is setting itself in the area of sustainability
(2) Build a broad support base within the university and the surrounding institutions for responsible sourcing
(3) By consulting many stakeholders across, the university’s policies and instruments on responsible sourcing can be improved and fine‐tuned to the realities of the different stakeholders
(4) The collaboration with external NGOs and knowledge centers related to human rights due dilligence gradually builds an ecosystem of actors that can support the university in its efforts to improve its responsible sourcing.
