WAVE-2 of the multi-actor Panel Study Divorce in Flanders (DiF-2)

The cross-sectional first wave "Divorce in Flanders" data, collected in 2009-2010, are the most recent representative survey data available for Flanders. In order to better account for the time ordering of these life course events, longitudinal data are necessary. Therefore, the aim of the DiF consortium is to invite all respondents to participate in a second wave. Not only (ex-)partners, but also their children, parents and new partners will be contacted again. Divorce and separation do not only concern two partners, also a broader family network is involved in these life course events. The second wave data, that will be collected using international standards for survey data quality, will be made available free of charge for universities and research groups. Research activities for community and care services will also be supported.
