Flow cytometer cell sorter FCU-AFCS (FCU-AFCS)

Flow cytometer (cell sorter) with 4 lasers (red/blue/violet/yellow-green) and 18 parameters (2 morphological parameters and 16 colors). The flow cytometer is built for cell analysis and sorting based on fluorescence and scatter properties.
The Biomedical Research Institute (UHasselt) has a longstanding expertise in immunology research, specifically in autoimmune diseases. One of the core specialties is flow cytometry, including fluorescent-activated cell sorting (FACS). The BD FACSAria Fusion flow cytometer delivers exceptional multicolor performance and ease-of-use. This cell sorting knowhow is combined with best-in-class biosafety expertise for a comprehensive advanced cell sorter and biosafety solution.
The cell sorter can characterize rare cell populations as well as isolate these cells for further downstream applications.
